I used to wear my heart on my sleeve. Now I wear it on the internet.

Woohoo!
Good news, everybody! You can now pay me for my ramblings! Flattr, who provides that little button next to all my post titles, is now open to everyone. It's pretty easy if you have a paypal account. So go and register and start Flatrring!
But this begs the question: "Why would anyone want to pay you for your ramblings?" Especially since historically your opinion has been shared freely to everyone regardless of whether or not they wanted it.
It is an absolutely valid question. I don't have a good answer for it. I will almost certainly continue to provide my ramblings for free, but there is a chance that if people were paying me to provide them, I could provide better ramblings or more frequent ramblings.
Wait, I just had a better idea. Maybe if I start promising not to post for N days where N is the number of Flattrs the last post received...

Does it go both ways? Would you be willing to pay us to leave better comments?
I guess you'll just have to sign up and start adding Flattr buttons to your comments to find out... :*)
